About LivedSupport
What is LivedSupport?
LivedSupport is a private support tool for people dealing with colorectal symptoms like hemorrhoids, fissures, fistulas, and related concerns. It combines AI-powered navigation, curated experience timelines, symptom tracking, and appointment preparation in one calm, confidential space.
Who is this for?
Anyone dealing with colorectal symptoms who wants to understand what they're experiencing before, between, or after medical appointments. Whether you're searching for answers at 2am or preparing for a follow-up, this is a private space to make sense of things.
Is this medical advice?
No. LivedSupport is an educational support tool. The navigator describes common patterns people report. It does not diagnose, prescribe, or replace medical care. Always consult a doctor for your specific situation.
Do I still need to see a doctor?
Yes. LivedSupport helps you organize your thoughts and understand common patterns, but it is not a substitute for medical care. We always encourage you to see a doctor, and our tools are designed to help you make the most of that appointment.
Who built this?
LivedSupport was built by people who understand both the technology and the experience. We created it because we know how hard it is to find structured, private, shame-free information about colorectal concerns.
The navigator
How does the AI experience navigator work?
The AI experience navigator is a conversational tool that helps you describe what you're experiencing, understand common patterns, and prepare for medical appointments. It draws on curated, real-world experience data — not generic medical content.
Can the AI diagnose me?
No. The navigator helps you understand common patterns and prepare for appointments. It will never tell you what you have. Only a clinician can do that after examining you.
What are safety checks?
Every conversation begins with a safety check. The navigator asks about urgent symptoms — like heavy bleeding, fever, or inability to pass stool — and directs you to seek immediate medical care if needed.
What kind of questions can I ask?
You can describe your symptoms, ask about common patterns, explore what others have experienced with similar concerns, and get help preparing questions for your doctor. The navigator is designed for open conversation, not yes-or-no answers.
Does the navigator remember previous conversations?
Yes. Your chats are saved so you can pick up where you left off. You can also delete any conversation at any time.
Privacy and data
Is my data private?
Yes. Your account is anonymous by default. We do not sell data or share it with third parties. You can delete individual items or your entire account at any time.
What data do you store?
We store your chat history, journal entries, and symptom timeline so you can access them across sessions. All data is tied to your account and is not visible to other users.
Can anyone else see my account?
No. Your account is private to you. We do not have public profiles, usernames, or any social features. No one can see what you've searched, written, or discussed.
Can I delete my data?
Yes. Full deletion controls are available from your account settings. You can delete individual chats, journal entries, or your entire account. Deletion is permanent.
Do you sell my data to advertisers?
No. We do not sell, share, or use your personal data for advertising. Our business model is your subscription, not your data.
Pricing and billing
How much does it cost?
$15 per month. One plan, no tiers. This includes everything: the AI experience navigator, full experience timelines, symptom tracking, journal, and doctor brief generation.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Cancel from your account page at any time. Your access continues until the end of your current billing period. No refunds, but no commitment either.
What happens when I cancel?
Your access continues until the end of your current billing period. After that, your data is retained for 30 days in case you decide to come back. After 30 days, it is permanently deleted.
Is there a free version?
Guides, condition pages, and experience previews are freely available on the site. The membership unlocks the AI experience navigator, full experience timelines, symptom tracking, journal, and doctor brief generation.
What's included in the membership?
Full experience timelines (not just previews), the AI experience navigator, symptom timeline tracking, a personal journal, doctor brief generation, and saved chats and notes that persist across sessions.
Why should I pay when forums are free?
Forums are public, unstructured, and full of conflicting advice. LivedSupport gives you private, AI-organized guidance that remembers your conversation, tracks your symptoms over time, and generates a summary for your doctor. It's designed to make sense of the information, not add to the noise.
Content
What are experiences?
Experiences are composite narratives built from real, publicly shared accounts of people dealing with specific colorectal concerns. They are structured into timelines so you can understand common patterns — what people felt, what they tried, and what happened over time.
Are experiences based on real people?
Experiences are composites. They are built from real, publicly shared accounts but do not represent any single individual. Details are aggregated and anonymized to reflect common patterns.
What are guides?
Guides are informational pages covering specific conditions, procedures, and topics. Each guide provides an at-a-glance summary, common patterns, and links to relevant experiences and tools.
Where does the information come from?
Our content is built from publicly available experience data — forum posts, support communities, and published accounts — that has been structured, verified against medical literature, and curated by our team. We do not republish scraped content directly.
How often is the content updated?
We regularly review and update guides and experiences as new patterns emerge and new information becomes available.
Medical safety
What if my symptoms are severe?
Seek medical care immediately. The navigator begins every conversation with a safety check and will always flag urgent symptoms. We are not a substitute for emergency care.
What symptoms should I go to a doctor for right away?
Seek immediate care for significant bleeding that won't stop, fever with abdominal or rectal pain, inability to pass stool or gas, sudden severe pain, or any symptoms that feel like an emergency to you. When in doubt, seek care.
Can LivedSupport replace my doctor?
No. LivedSupport helps you understand common patterns and prepare for appointments. It is designed to work alongside medical care, not instead of it.
What if I'm in distress?
If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call your local emergency number. If you are in emotional distress, please reach out to a crisis helpline in your country. LivedSupport is not equipped to provide emergency or crisis support.
Does LivedSupport recommend treatments?
No. The navigator and guides describe what people with similar symptoms commonly report. We never recommend specific treatments, medications, or dosages. Treatment decisions should always be made with your doctor.
When to seek care
If you experience any of the following, seek urgent medical care:
- Severe or worsening pain
- Heavy bleeding
- Fever
- Black stools
- Fainting or dizziness
- Pus or unusual discharge
- Inability to pass stool or gas
- Unexplained weight loss
